If your domain has any error, it is usually due to problems in one of the following processes: registration, transfer, or expiration. The most frequent errors are detailed below:

Cancelled by Timeout

This error occurs when the domain transfer has not been confirmed (via the email sent to the domain's Administrative contact) and the acceptance link has expired.

Solution: restart the transfer process by following these steps:

  1. Access your SWPanel.
  2. In the left side menu (blue), select Domains and Certificates.
  3. Click on Domain Portfolio.
  4. Locate the domain you wish to transfer and expand the Manage tab to the right of it.
  5. Click on Restart transfer and follow the instructions.

Invalid Authorization Information / Authorization Error

This error occurs when the authorization code for the domain transfer (also called Authcode) is incorrect.

Solution:

  1. Contact the current registrar of the domain.
  2. Request a new valid Authcode to complete the transfer.

XML Error: Missing Data

This error usually occurs in .ES domains when domain data is missing or when the administrative and/or technical contacts are not natural persons.

Solution:

  1. Review the contacts assigned to the domain.
  2. Ensure that the administrative and technical contacts are assigned and are natural persons with a valid Identity Document.

Required Parameter Missing

This error occurs when data necessary to complete the transfer process is missing.

Solution:

  1. Review all the information you have provided for the transfer.
  2. Specifically verify that the domain's Authcode is included, as this is the most common cause of this error.

Required Parameter Missing: NS

This error indicates that an essential parameter for completing the operation is missing, usually related to the domain's DNS servers.

Solution:

  1. Review the DNS data assigned to the domain.
  2. Ensure that the NS servers are correctly configured and present.

Client Cancelled

This error occurs when the domain process (for example, the transfer) has been cancelled by the client.

Solution:

  • If you wish to continue with the process, you must start the operation again from the beginning.

An EXCEPTION Happened! Can Not Get Info From whois.internic.net

This error indicates that a problem has occurred and information cannot be obtained for the domain.

Solution: This is a temporary error; to resolve it, manually restart the transfer by following these steps:

  1. Access your SWPanel.
  2. In the left side menu (blue), select Domains and Certificates.
  3. Click on Domain Portfolio.
  4. Locate the desired domain and expand the Manage tab to the right.
  5. Click on Restart transfer and follow the instructions.

Object Status Prohibits Operation

This error occurs when the domain status prevents the requested action from being performed, usually a transfer.

Common causes:

  • The domain is locked.
  • The domain was registered less than 60 days ago, which restricts some operations.

Solution:

  1. Verify if the domain is locked:
    • Access Domain Portfolio in your SWPanel.
    • Expand the Manage tab to the right of the domain.
    • If it is locked, select Unlock domain.
  2. If the domain is not locked or the problem persists, contact free support (Handbuch: Talk to support with Quick Help).

Object Is Not Eligible for Transfer

This error appears when the domain was registered less than 60 days ago.

Even if the domain is not locked, it cannot be transferred until the 60 days of mandatory permanence since its registration have passed.

Solution:

  • Wait until 60 days have passed from the registration date before attempting the transfer.

Missing Administrative Contact

This error occurs when there is no administrative contact assigned to the domain.

Solution:

  1. Create a contact file (if it does not exist):
    • Access Domains.
    • Select Manage for the corresponding domain.
    • Go to Administrative Contact Data → Change contact → Create administrative contact.
  2. Assign a contact file (if it already exists):
    • Access Domains → Manage in the domain.
    • Go to Administrative Contact Data → Change contact → Assign.

For more details, see Handbuch: Domains.

Unknown

This error indicates that an unidentified problem has occurred.

Solution:

Cancelled: Documentation has not been provided

This error occurs in .ES domains of the type *.org.es or *.edu.es when the required documentation has not been sent to ESNIC.

Solution:

  • Send the necessary documentation to ESNIC to complete the process.
  • Once the documentation is validated, you can continue with the domain operation.

Missing Authcode

This error occurs when the Authcode provided for the domain transfer is incorrect or has not been entered.

Solution:

  1. Contact the current registrar of the domain.
  2. Request a new valid Authcode to complete the transfer.

Cancelled

This error indicates that the domain process, such as a transfer, has been cancelled.

Solution:

  • If you wish to continue, you must start the process again from the beginning.

Transfer Order Deleted (Previous State: Transfer Waiting for Admin Contact Approval)

This error indicates that the transfer process has been cancelled while awaiting approval from the administrative contact.

Solution:

  • If you wish to complete the transfer, you must restart the process from the beginning.

For example, it can happen if the specified DNS do not exist.

Solution:

  2. Correct any incorrect parameters, especially the DNS servers.

Missing Technical Contact

This error occurs when there is no technical contact assigned to the domain.

Solution:

  1. Create a new technical contact (if it does not exist):
    • Access Domains → Manage in the corresponding domain.
    • Go to Technical Contact Data → Change contact → Create technical contact.
  2. Assign an existing technical contact (if you already have one):
    • Access Domains → Manage → Technical Contact Data → Change contact → Assign.

  2. Once cancelled, you can register a new domain with another name.

For more details, see Handbuch: How to register a domain from SWPanel

Solution:

  2. To register a new domain:
    • Access Domains → 'www' bar.
    • Enter the new domain and click Search.
    • Select Register and complete the payment gateway.

Solution:

  • You must register a new domain with another name.

    • If it is a natural person, use Identity Document and legal form natural person.
  2. Save the changes and try the operation again.

Domain in Redemption Period

This error indicates that the domain has expired and is in the final recovery phase before being deleted and becoming available for registration.

Solution:

  1. If possible, recover the domain from SWPanel:
    • Access Domains → Manage in the corresponding domain.
  2. If you cannot recover it, contact support by opening an administrative ticket.

For more details, see Handbuch: How to create an Administrative Ticket.
