Introducing SWPanel Academy: Learn to Orchestrate, Prove What You Know
Starting with SWPanel 2027, mastering SWPanel will have a new path: SWPanel Academy, the official training and certification program designed to help you manage infrastructure with confidence, gain independence, and validate your expertise.
Managing domains, hosting, cloud servers, email, and databases is only part of the job. The real step forward comes from understanding how all these services fit together, how to manage them efficiently, and how to turn them into a system that works for you.
That's the purpose of SWPanel Academy: to offer a practical, progressive learning path that helps you work more independently, develop new skills, and demonstrate your knowledge through official certification.
Our philosophy can be summed up in one idea: Orchestration Mindset — the craft of control.
Don't just manage your services. Orchestrate them.
What Is SWPanel Academy and Why Did We Create It?
SWPanel Academy is SWPanel's official training and certification program, launching with SWPanel 2027. It brings together everything you need to master the platform in a single learning path, from everyday operations to advanced administration and infrastructure design.
Until now, learning to use SWPanel might have meant consulting documentation, searching for help articles, or contacting support whenever questions arose. It worked, but everyone learned independently, and there was no structured learning path that allowed users to officially validate the knowledge they had acquired.
Academy was created to address that need: to organize knowledge, turn it into a clear learning journey, and provide a way to demonstrate the skills you've developed.
Each level builds on what you've learned before, combines explanations with practical exercises, and concludes with an assessment. This allows you to progress step by step, apply your knowledge to your work, and track your development.
At its core, it's about a change in mindset: moving from managing services individually to orchestrating them as a complete system.
We call it Orchestration Mindset — the craft of control. Because when you understand how your infrastructure works, you stop simply managing services and start unlocking their full potential.
How It's Structured: Three Levels and Two Specializations
SWPanel Academy is organized around a core learning path consisting of three levels and two specializations designed for specific professional profiles.
The core path progresses from Associate (Level 1) to Professional (Level 2) and Architect (Level 3). Each stage develops the knowledge required to work with SWPanel, from essential operations to advanced management and infrastructure orchestration at scale.
The specializations allow you to explore specific areas in greater depth: building a business around SWPanel and integrating the platform with other systems.
The first level, Associate, will be the starting point with SWPanel 2027. From there, Academy will gradually expand with additional levels and specializations.
RHA · Business is designed for those who want to grow their business with SWPanel, while API · Integrator is aimed at professionals who need to connect the platform with their own tools and processes. Entry requirements for each specialization will be announced as they become available.
Level 1 · Associate: The First to Arrive
With the launch of SWPanel 2027, Associate will be the first available level of SWPanel Academy. It is designed to help you become comfortable working with the platform, understand how it operates, and gain greater independence in managing your services.
The content is organized into ten documents: a program guide, six core modules, two special modules, and a self-assessment and certification document.
The six core modules cover the fundamental knowledge needed to work with SWPanel from day one.
-
Getting Started. Become familiar with the interface, navigation, and logic of the panel. Learn where to find the tools you need and how to navigate the platform confidently.
-
Hosting and Websites. Discover how to create and manage your hosting services and work with the essential components of your websites.
-
Email and FTP. Learn how email works, how to manage accounts, use webmail and desktop email clients, and access your services via FTP.
-
Domains and Data. Explore the operations involved in registering, managing, and configuring domains, and understand how they relate to your services.
-
Databases. Learn how to create databases, access them, and manage their essential components directly from SWPanel.
-
Operations and Support. Discover how to handle everyday tasks, maintain traceability across your operations, and make the most of the available help tools, including Immediate Help.
These modules are complemented by two special modules covering situations commonly encountered in day-to-day work.
X1 · WordPress: Deploy and Maintain Your Websites
Learn how to deploy and maintain WordPress using SWPanel. This module will help you understand the steps required to launch a website and manage its hosting environment.
X2 · Migrations: Move Your Services Safely
Changing providers or moving services doesn't have to be complicated. This module explores the different ways to migrate your services to SWPanel:
-
The manual method.
-
The integrated migration tool.
-
Migrations between SWPanel accounts.
The goal is to help you understand the available alternatives and identify the most appropriate procedure for each situation.
The Associate learning path concludes with a self-assessment and certification document, which includes a complete mock version of the official exam. This allows you to review what you've learned, identify any knowledge gaps, and prepare for certification with greater confidence.
How Learning Works at Academy
At SWPanel Academy, you learn by doing. The training is designed so you can work directly within your own panel and connect every explanation to a real task.
Each module combines explanatory content, platform screenshots, and guided exercises to help you understand not only what to do, but also why and when to do it.
These are the main learning resources you'll find throughout the program.
-
Hands-On Practice. At the end of each section, you'll find exercises to put what you've learned into practice directly in SWPanel. Activities are designed to help you progress gradually without unnecessarily repeating tasks you've already mastered.
-
Tips and Recommendations. Throughout the modules, you'll discover suggestions to help you explore features, try new configurations, and take advantage of capabilities you may not have used before.
-
Progressive Glossary. Essential concepts are gradually added to a glossary that grows alongside your learning. This allows you to revisit previous terms and reinforce your understanding as you progress.
-
Quizzes and Practical Exams. Comprehension questions and practical scenarios help you assess whether you understand the concepts and can apply them in real situations.
-
Final Self-Assessment. At the end of the program, you'll face a mix of questions without indications of which module they belong to. The objective is to verify that you have a comprehensive understanding of the material rather than simply remembering the order in which it was presented.
And if you get stuck at any point, Immediate Help will still be available as a support resource.
Because mastering SWPanel isn't about memorizing a series of steps. It's about understanding how the platform works, knowing which tools to use, and making better decisions when managing your services.
Certification, Identity, and Community
SWPanel Academy isn't just about learning. It's also about giving you a way to validate your expertise and make your skills professionally visible.
Completing the program levels will allow you to earn the corresponding certifications and progress toward recognition as a SWPanel Orchestrator. This credential can be shared with clients, employers, or your own team to demonstrate your expertise with the platform.
A Certification That Evolves With You
Technical knowledge needs to stay up to date. That's why Academy certifications include annual renewal through a test focused on the new features and improvements introduced in SWPanel during the year.
You won't need to repeat the entire learning path from the beginning. Instead, you'll demonstrate that you understand the relevant changes and that your certification continues to reflect the current platform.
This way, your certification won't remain tied to an outdated version: it will evolve alongside you and SWPanel.
Much More Than an Exam
Academy was also created with the ambition of building a community around the people who know and master the platform.
Our vision includes three elements of identity and recognition:
-
the SWPanel Guild: a community of certified professionals who share knowledge, experience, and a common approach to understanding SWPanel.
-
SWPanel Luminary: a recognition awarded to those who complete the training journey and achieve the highest level of specialization within the program.
-
Archonate: the circle closest to the team building SWPanel, designed to recognize a particularly strong connection with the platform's ongoing development.
Training is the starting point. Certification allows you to demonstrate what you've learned, while the community opens the door to sharing experiences and continuing to grow professionally.
What's Next: The Future of SWPanel Academy
The launch of SWPanel Academy alongside SWPanel 2027 will mark the beginning of a learning journey that will continue to grow over time.
Associate will be the first step, but our vision goes much further. These are the next areas of development for the program.
-
Academy in Catalan and English. We want training to reach more professionals and allow everyone to learn in their preferred language. We're working on translations of Level 1, and the program guide is already available in all three languages.
-
Level 2 · Professional. This level will expand on the knowledge acquired in Associate with advanced panel features, including email aliases and distribution lists, antispam filters, allowlists and blocklists, and other tools for more advanced service administration.
-
Level 3 · Architect. This level will take learning toward the design of complete infrastructures and orchestration at scale, providing a comprehensive view of environments and their components.
-
RHA · Business Specialization. This specialization will explore how to use SWPanel as a business tool for hosting companies, agencies, and professionals who manage services for their clients.
-
API · Integrator Specialization. This specialization will focus on integrating SWPanel with other tools and systems, using the API, and automating processes.
Each new stage will expand learning opportunities and allow professionals to choose how they want to develop within the SWPanel ecosystem.
We'll continue sharing Academy news and progress through our blog.
