Connection with the Google Business Profile

SWPanel allows the CUSTOMER to connect their Google Business Profile (their listing on Search and Maps) in order to review, within their own panel, the state of their listing and what their reviews say. This connection is optional, is always initiated by the CUSTOMER explicitly from their panel, and may be revoked at any time.

Access is read-only. SWPanel does not post, does not reply to reviews, does not modify opening hours, categories or any other listing data, and performs no action on behalf of the CUSTOMER.

This provision is separate from access to SWPanel via Google OAuth 2.0 and from the Search Console and Google Ads connection, which are described in their own sections.

Information collected

When the CUSTOMER authorises the connection, SWPanel accesses only information about the listings the CUSTOMER manages, which may include:

• The identifier, name, address, phone number, website, category and opening hours of their listings
• Their average rating and total review count
• The reviews received: the public name of the person who wrote them, the star rating, the text, the date, and whether the CUSTOMER has already replied
• The access permissions (tokens) granted by Google

About the data of people who leave reviews

Reviews are written by third parties and Google publishes them openly on the listing: anyone searching for the CUSTOMER can see them. SWPanel does not make them public nor distribute them: it simply shows them to the CUSTOMER themselves, inside their private panel.

Of those people, we store only the public name they themselves display on Google and the text of their review. We do not store their email, photograph or account identifier, we do not cross-reference their data with any other source, and we do not build profiles of them.

Use of the information

The information obtained is used exclusively to:

• Show the CUSTOMER their rating and how it evolves
• Alert them to reviews they have not yet answered
• Point out what their listing is missing (hours, category, website or phone) to improve local visibility
• Complete the SEO analysis of their website

The data obtained is not used for advertising, commercial or external marketing purposes, nor to build profiles unrelated to the operation of the service, nor to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Sharing of the information

SWPanel does not share this data with third parties, except in the following cases:

• Where strictly necessary for the technical operation of the service (for example, technology infrastructure providers).
• Where there is a legal obligation or a requirement from a competent authority.

Under no circumstances is data obtained from Google sold or transferred for commercial purposes.

Storage and security

Data associated with the connection is stored on secure systems, applying appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

SWPanel does not store Google account passwords. Authorisation is carried out using secure tokens managed by Google's OAuth system, and the information obtained is visible only to the CUSTOMER within their own panel.

Data retention

Listing data and reviews are retained while the connection remains active, and are refreshed periodically.

If the CUSTOMER revokes the connection, they are deleted immediately, including the stored reviews: they are not left to age in our systems. Once the CUSTOMER's SWPanel account is deleted, the associated data will be securely erased or anonymised, unless applicable regulations require it to be retained for a specific period.

Data deletion and user rights

The CUSTOMER may revoke access and delete the associated data at any time, through any of these routes:

• From their panel: the SEO section of their service, Business Profile tab, Disconnect button.
• From their Google account: Manage your Google Account, Security, Third-party connections; removing SWPanel's access.
• By request through the contact channels indicated in this Privacy Policy.

Anyone who has written a review can edit or delete it at any time from their own Google account; once they do, it also stops appearing here at the next refresh.

Compliance with Google policies

SWPanel complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and with the Business Profile API terms of use. The data obtained is used solely to provide the features described in this document, the minimum necessary scope is requested, and no data is transferred to third parties for purposes other than those stated here.

Changes to this provision

SWPanel may update this section to adapt it to regulatory or technical changes, or to Google requirements. Any modifications will be published together with the updated Privacy Policy.
